Children’s Ministry
The Children’s ministry at Hanover Valley Presbyterian is called KIDS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. It meets most every Sunday morning at 11 AM for all ages and is an active program that uses a variety of media and involves music, teaching, discussion, crafts, and projects. All you have to do is ask the kids themselves and they will tell you its fun and a place where friends are made. The classes are led by gifted and trained adults who love kids and their families. If you have any questions you are welcome to speak with any of them directly or to the Children’s Ministry Coordinator Deb Stapf. Below are the age break downs and a brief general description of the Kids Under Construction classes.
Nursery Care
Nursery care is provided during worship for children from birth through age four. During Sunday School the nursery is for children under the age of three. Our nursery staff will help your child know that the church is a place where little ones are cared for and accepted. For more information about child care, please see our Nursery brochure.
Beginnings

Discovers
(4th – 6th grades) study the Word in its historical framework. From creation to the flood, Abraham to the exodus, the kinds of captivity, the life of Christ, the beginning Church. The children develop an understanding of how God make himself known to us in the different areas of revelation.
Teenage Classes
