Adult Workshop
The purpose of adult education is to augment the primary ministry of Growth Groups by training adults for effective ministry in the church, community and family. Adult education will use the unique teaching gifts of individuals in the church to address three foundational areas of the Christian life: the heart (discipleship), the hands (service), and the head (doctrine). We have two tracks within adult education.

Letters About Jesus
by Brian Blake
Wouldn’t you love to read a letter from one of Jesus’ closest friends while He walked on earth? John was called the “beloved disciple” and we will be discovering what he had to say in his first letter.
Foundations Track
April 18th – May 30th
20/20 Vision
Curious about the church? Just starting to get acquainted? Thinking of joining? This class will go through the distinctive nature of Hanover Valley Church and discuss the “why” behind all of what we do. Learn about the church’s vision, philosophy of ministry, leadership, history, theology, and ministry structure. Plenty of time is included to answer your questions. Come and find out what makes the church tick. Participation does not mean you are expected to become a member, but the course is required for all those desiring membership. This course will run during the Adult Workshop hour on Sunday mornings beginning April 18th and running through May 30th. Please register for this class if you plan to participate by contacting Pastor Drew Derreth.
