Core Values
We believe?
- That the Gospel of Christ is most accurately and Biblically expressed through words and deeds (Heb 10:23,24; I Peter 2:9-12).
- That Christ and the Gospel redeem all of life, healing all the alienation caused by the sin of Adam (spiritual, psychological, emotional, relational, social, physical, and financial)(Genesis 3; miracles of Jesus; II Corinthians 5: 16-21).
- There is a necessary connection between physical, psychological, relational, social, financial needs and spiritual needs.
- The Gospel calls us to take the initiative in bringing mercy and healing to the community, because of God’s great mercy plan. We must humbly learn from those in need (I Corinthians 9:19-23).
- That those in need should participate in the development of the mercy ministry, as well, as in their own mercy plan. We must humbly learn from those in need.
- That bringing mercy means we are to correct, train, rebuke, and encourage with great patience and careful instruction (Luke 17:3-4; Matthew 18:15-20; II Timothy 3:16-17; 4:3).
